Charlie Palmer Cuvée

Charlie Palmer Cuvée emerges from an exciting partnership between esteemed Champagne Palmer, renowned Chef Charlie Palmer and his wife and business partner, Lisa Palmer. After discovering several years prior that they shared not only a surname, but a true dedication to the art of winemaking, the two entities joined forces. Driven by their deep appreciation for wine and the traditional Méthode Champenoise process, Charlie and Lisa traveled to Reims in France’s Champagne province to collaborate with the celebrated champagne house and bring forth this unique and personal offering. Originally established by seven local grape grower families, Champagne Palmer has solidified its presence in the Champagne region, embodying the essence of a true “growers champagne.” The Charlie Palmer Cuvée is a genuine Blanc de Noir, meticulously crafted from an equal blend of Pinot Noir and Meunier grapes, and aged on the lees for a minimum of 40 months.

Tasting Notes

“This is an immensely versatile bubbly – delicious as an aperitif, it also pairs perfectly with all types of seafood and even light poultry dishes.”

Charlie Palmer

"The style of the Charlie Palmer Cuvee is characterized by its elegance and balance. It is expressed fully after a long maturing period in chalk cellars 18 meters below ground level. At the heart of the blend lies a unique Solera of Pinot Noir, a perpetual reserve of several decades reflecting the House’s celebrated expertise along with the generosity of the Meunier. The grace and power of these wines and the significant contribution made by reserve wines confer a rich fullness and rare maturity."
